Discipleship & Nurture

Faith’s Ministry for Discipleship & Nurture (D&N) develops our congregation as disciples of Christ. It partners with other ministries to deepen the F.A.I.T.H. (Fellowship, Adoration, Involvement, Transformation, Harvest) culture in our church, so that each member of our Faith church family is an ambassador of our mission to transform lives and change the world.

Our D&N initiatives include:

• Transformed by the Word – a church-wide Bible Reading Programme to take our congregation through the whole Bible in 3 years
• Biblical Courses – short courses held several times throughout the year to encourage love for God’s Word and supplement our TbtW Bible Reading Programme
• FaithWalk! – a weekly sermon summary with reflective questions to encourage application of God’s word in our lives for Christlike transformation
• DISCIPLE Class – a Bible study programme that seeks to develop the Marks of Discipleship in participants to live as committed disciples of Christ
• Conversations@Faith – Conversations held periodically to discuss issues that concern the congregation as they pursue our church’s direction for the year
• Silent Retreat – Spiritual Retreats to encourage silence and solitude with the Lord
